• WHAT IS "TIME OF SILENCE"?

Every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, PPC OZAS introduces a Quiet Time.
During this time, music in common areas will be turned off, and lighting will be dimmed. We hope this creates a more comfortable shopping environment for individuals – or their children – who experience sensory challenges. This calmer setting may allow visitors to spend time in the shopping and entertainment center in a more relaxed and pleasant way. If someone experiences sensory overload, they will be able to calm down and recover in a specially designated sensory-friendly space located in the Parents and Kids Lounge on the 3rd floor.

    • NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISIBLE

Invisible disability refers to a variety of conditions or disorders that may not be immediately noticeable, yet can present challenges in communication and interaction with others—especially in public spaces or while traveling.

Mental health conditions, speech, vision, and hearing impairments, autism, and various chronic illnesses such as asthma, kidney failure, diabetes, sleep disorders, and many others are examples of invisible disabilities that may not be apparent at first glance.

The Sunflower lanyard for invisible disabilities is a symbol that discreetly indicates a person may have a hidden condition and might need extra time, understanding, or assistance.

    • GET THE LANYARD AT PPC OZAS

Special Sunflower lanyards for invisible disabilities are available free of charge at the shopping and entertainment center’s Information Desk.

    • FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT

Shopping center staff have been informed about what invisible disabilities are and how to respond when someone is wearing a Sunflower lanyard or inquires about receiving one at the Information Desk.

Raising awareness about the Sunflower lanyard for invisible disabilities helps create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for people with invisible disabilities when shopping or enjoying leisure activities.

    • LANYARD - HELP AND SUPPORT

      Recognize
Every person may have different needs and emotions. The symbolic lanyard helps identify and understand behaviors that might seem unusual.

      Support
For people with invisible disabilities, it is a discreet way to signal that they may need more time, attention, or assistance.

      Educate

      Include
It empowers people with disabilities to feel more comfortable in public spaces and encourages society to be more inclusive, respectful, and accepting of those with invisible disabilities.
